P.T. Astra Juoku Indonesia commenced full operations.

Constructed automotive lighting plant in Tainan Technology Industrial Park.

Established P.T. Astra Juoku Indonesia (Karawang), a joint venture with P.T. Astra Otoparts Tbk., to manufacture and market automotive and motorcycle lighting products.
